How my event photography service works.

What you can expect when you hire me as your event photographer.

So, what is it like working with me? I am all about giving you an easy, professional, and friendly experience from start to finish.

Before The Shoot

First things first, let's get the paperwork out of the way. 

Once you've paid the deposit and signed our contract, I will set a call on Zoom or chat to go over the event shot list based on your questionnaire answers. 

This list includes all the key moments you want captured, plus any other guidelines you have in mind. I'll even give my ideas and suggestions to make our shoot even more amazing. 

Once we've agreed on our shot list, you can kick back and relax while I gear up for the big day.

My Equipment

I'm all about quality, so I've invested in professional-grade photo and video equipment. This includes cameras, lenses, and portable lighting, which I can set up at your event. 

This means you get stunning, high-quality images and videos even under challenging shooting conditions.

Shoot Day

On the event day, I'll be there early, at least 45 minutes ahead of time. I love being early because it lets me meet you, set up my gear, check out the venue, and even snap some detail shots before the crowd pours in.

If you like, we can also take a quick tour together to ensure I know the best spots for capturing those must-have moments.

With my wealth of experience in event dynamics, I can work under minimum supervision so you can focus on enjoying or managing your event. 

During the event, I usually end up taking loads of photos. We're talking hundreds, sometimes even thousands! Why so many? Well, I'm all about capturing those fleeting, perfect moments. By using burst shots, I can catch the best expressions, the most telling gestures, and the kind of moments that really bring a photo to life. 

It's all about telling a story through each shot, making sure your photos aren't just beautiful but also interesting and unique.

I don’t stay in one spot as well! I love moving around and capturing your event from multiple angles to really bring out the uniqueness of each scene or key moment. 

You'll see me zipping around the venue, always on the lookout for a fresh perspective. But don't worry, I'm super careful about it. I ensure I'm not in the way or disrupting the flow of your event.

And it's not all about candid shots! I'm a big fan of interacting with guests to get those lovely, posed photos – and I promise, they're anything but boring. It's funny; people often tell me that my big smile while taking photos is contagious. It just naturally gets everyone else smiling, too, making those posed shots feel more genuine and lively. 

Live Gallery (If You Opt for It)

If you choose my Live Gallery Service, your photos will be edited and uploaded to an online gallery in real time! 

This means you and your guests can view, download, and share the photos right at the event. All I need is a stable internet connection. 

I'll even give you a QR code for the gallery in advance to add to your invites or social media.

After the Shoot

After our event, I’ll go through all the photos and pick out the best ones that tell the story of your event. There's no cap on the number of photos I edit and send to you as long as they meet my quality standards. 

The final photo count varies based on different factors, but generally, you can expect around 100-150 photos for a 2-hour event and 250-300 for a 4-hour shoot.

Photo Delivery

Depending on your package, you'll get 20 initial photos the next day (great for quick shares!), and for all packages, all photos will be delivered within 2 business days in a beautiful online gallery that stays up for a year.
